## Deployment Strategist - Crypto Investigations ### About the role The Customer Outcomes Team (COT) at Chainalysis is made up of cryptocurrency investigators, blockchain data experts, and enablement specialists who help transform Chainalysis data into real-world impact. Chainalysis is seeking a **customer-focused, technically strong Deployment Strategist** to lead the **end-to-end delivery, adoption, and ongoing success** of the **Data Solutions** product. This role sits at the intersection of **data engineering, analytics, domain expertise, and customer partnership**. ### In this role, you’ll: - **Own end-to-end delivery** of Chainalysis Services engagements, from discovery through implementation, education, and ongoing monitoring. - **Partner directly with Financial Institution (FI) customers** to understand AML/CFT compliance and market expansion objectives, translating them into data-driven monitoring solutions. - **Design, build, and maintain custom compliance workflows, notebooks, and dashboards** to help private sector customers identify and mitigate exposure to illicit activity. - Serve as the **primary technical point of contact** for **Americas-based** private sector customers, building trusted relationships through hands-on data expertise and industry knowledge. - Lead **solution design discussions** and technical deep dives for integrating Chainalysis data into existing bank infrastructure and compliance stacks. - Deliver **briefings and presentations** to both technical teams and non-technical compliance leadership, bridging data science and regulatory expectations. - Collaborate with **Product, Engineering, and Regulatory Affairs** to influence the roadmap for compliance and market expansion-centric data offerings based on customer feedback. - **Support and mentor** other Services team members by sharing best practices for navigating the Americas regulatory and competitive landscape (e.g., **BSA, Travel Rule, OFAC**). ### We’re looking for candidates who have: - Delivered **customer-facing data or analytics solutions** in the **private sector**. - Built insights from complex financial datasets and communicated risk-based findings to **audit/compliance stakeholders**. - Worked directly with customers in **AML, KYC, financial crime, or regulatory compliance** within the **Americas** region. - Experience navigating compliance requirements of traditional financial institutions or high-growth FinTechs. - Success in fast-paced environments requiring the ability to pivot across regulatory jurisdictions and customer risk appetites. - Ideally supported cryptocurrency compliance workflows such as **alert tuning, SAR filing, or sanctions screening**. ### Technical skills: - Strong proficiency in **Python** and **SQL** for data analysis, transformation, and automated compliance monitoring. - Experience building **notebooks and dashboards** that visualize risk metrics and transaction patterns. - Solid understanding of **data modeling** and working with large-scale financial transaction data. - Ability to quickly develop deep expertise in **Chainalysis data structures** to map them to traditional banking **KYT (Know Your Transaction)** needs. ### About Chainalysis (AI at Chainalysis) Chainalysis emphasizes that **AI fluency** is tied to performance and how the company plans to win.
