You’ll help empower business professionals and data teams to explore, analyze, visualize, and collaborate using their organization’s data. **Our internship program at Sigma** Sigma’s Early Career Program is the launchpad for the next generation of engineers and innovators. As an Intern at Sigma, you’ll work on various production features and learn efficient engineering for large, scalable systems. You’ll work directly with engineers, product leaders, and designers across the organization. **Internship Program Qualifications** - **Current student:** Applicants must be currently enrolled in a university undergraduate or graduate degree program in the U.S, with a graduation date of **December 2027 or later**. - **Availability:** Able to intern from **June 2027 through August/early September 2027** (dates flexible). - **Authorization:** Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S during the Summer 2027 program. **Visa sponsorship is not available**. - **Location:** Remaining internships are **in-person**, primarily in **San Francisco, CA** or **New York, NY**. Relocation assistance will be provided for students who need to relocate via a **relocation bonus**. - Applicants must be able to work **in-person** in the San Francisco or New York office for the duration of the internship. **About the role** Sigma’s Engineering organization is a dynamic, high-performing team of Software Engineers. Engineers design, implement, and scale technical solutions that power Sigma’s core product and enable users to make data-driven decisions. As a **Software Engineering Intern**, you will: - Experiment, prototype, and implement features that help Sigma’s global user base analyze and gather insights from their data - Partner directly with an engineering mentor - Collaborate with other teams across the business (including Product Designers, Product Managers, Sales, and users) - Take your project from ideation through implementation, iterating and gathering feedback - Deploy features and gather insights from customer metrics to inform better development
