With bidirectional driving capabilities and four-wheel steering, our vehicles can maneuver through compact spaces and change directions without needing to reverse. ## The Opportunity Zoox is at a critical inflection point as we scale our robotaxi deployment, and we’re looking for an **Engineering Manager, ML Performance Optimization** to join our growing ML performance engineering leadership team. The **centralized ML performance team** plays a crucial role in enabling innovations across all ML research teams—helping develop and deploy models across our robotaxi and cloud infrastructure, while advancing training and inference optimization techniques. In this role, you’ll work across multiple ML teams at Zoox—**Perception, Prediction, Planner, Simulation**, and our **Advanced Hardware Engineering** group—to help enable rapid experimentation and scale multi-modal foundation models and RL infrastructure.
