## Software Engineer II — User Facing Applications **Location:** Campbell, CA (Hybrid) **Type:** Full-time **Team/Domain:** R&D Robotics ### Why Imperative Care? Imperative Care is developing novel robotic-assisted technologies and interventional capabilities to improve outcomes for **ischemic stroke**—a disease that impacts close to a million people a year in the U.S. and 10 million worldwide. ### What You’ll Do You’ll help build **physician-facing application software** for the **Telos robotic system**, including: - Designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining **user-interface and high-performance visualization** components - Collaborating with **software, systems, clinical, and UX** partners to translate requirements into **safe, reliable, intuitive** software - Contributing to **high-performance, interactive visualization applications** for medical use - Developing and maintaining **robust testing frameworks** (unit, integration, and automated tests) to ensure quality and reliability - Translating **user needs, clinical requirements, and customer feedback** into engineering priorities - Creating and maintaining clear **documentation** for software architecture, coding standards, and development processes ### What You’ll Bring - Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE or related field **and 2+ years** related experience (or equivalent) - Strong **object-oriented programming**, **software architecture**, and **design patterns** - **C++** experience - Desktop UI development experience (e.g., **Qt/QML, PyQt, OpenGL**) - Experience with other languages such as **Python** - Excellent communication and documentation skills ### Compensation & Benefits - **Salary range:** **$135,000 – $142,000** annually (guideline; may vary by scope, experience, education, skills, and location) - Stock options, bonus, competitive salary - 401(k), health benefits - Generous PTO - Parental leave program ### Apply Apply today to join the team building next-generation robotic-assisted stroke care.
