**Hudson River Trading (HRT)** is seeking an **Endpoint Engineer (Mobile)** to join our Enterprise Technology team in **New York City**. In this role, you’ll take ownership of HRT’s existing **iOS and Android mobile device program**—growing and maturing it end-to-end across **zero-touch enrollment, managed app distribution, compliance, security controls, telemetry, configuration-as-code, and safe retirement**. --- ### Responsibilities - Create and maintain a **best-in-class managed mobile experience** - Troubleshoot day-to-day issues with a hands-on approach; serve as the **escalation point** for mobile endpoint engineering, security, and deployment-related issues - Investigate recurring problems, deliver **long-term fixes**, and maintain clear documentation - Research, test, and implement **best practices** for the technical stack and processes - Educate technical and non-technical end users on best practices and improve adoption of effective workflows and tools --- ### Qualifications - Deep knowledge and experience with **iOS and Android device management** - Experience provisioning, deploying, and maintaining mobile endpoints using **Apple Business (AB)** and an **MDM** such as **Jamf Pro**, **Workspace ONE**, **Microsoft Intune**, or equivalent - Experience managing device configuration as code (**Git-based workflows, CI, progressive rollout**) - Proficiency scripting and building tools with **Bash or Python** - Familiarity with endpoint security fundamentals, identity integration (**Entra ID, Okta, or similar**) and **conditional access** - A design approach that incorporates **security best practices, business continuity, and scalability** - Collaborative, can-do mindset and willingness to support others - Ability to communicate effectively in both technical and non-technical language; translate information into clear documentation and requirements - Ability to empathize with end users and craft solutions under pressure **Nice to have:** - Experience with carrier management, eSIM provisioning, and international roaming programs - Experience with **Apple declarative device management (DDM)** - Familiarity with **macOS or Windows management** alongside a mobile fleet - Experience with **message archiving** --- ### Compensation & Benefits - Estimated base salary range: **$150,000–$225,000 USD/year** (or local equivalent) - Eligible for **discretionary performance-based bonuses** and a **competitive benefits package** --- ### Culture HRT brings a **scientific approach** to trading financial products and has built one of the world’s most sophisticated computing environments for research and development.
