**Senior Automation Engineer, Compute** **About the Role:** As a Senior Deployment Automation Engineer for the Compute Team, you'll own deployment and testing automation for large-scale, multi-node GPU clusters. You'll develop CI/CD infrastructure for a rapidly scaling fleet of virtualized GPU and CPU hosts across Crusoe's AI Cloud. **What You'll Work On:** • Deployment and integration testing on bare-metal, on-premise systems • Build CI/CD platforms enabling rapid testing, iteration, and deployment • Design large-scale validation tests across multi-node virtualized clusters • Maintain bare-metal Linux configurations using Gitlab, Ansible, osquery, etc. • Create control applications for canary deployments, Blue/Green testing, and automatic rollback • Develop automation frameworks in Python or Go for dynamic provisioning and stress-testing • Create automated test suites using fio, stress-ng, and iperf **What You'll Bring:** • 5+ years of experience + Bachelor's/Master's in CS, EE, or related field • Experience building automated integration testing from Linux systems to distributed control planes • Proven track record designing and deploying microservices in distributed cloud environments • Strong understanding of cloud resource abstraction (Compute, Network, Storage) • Working knowledge: Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Postgres • Intimate knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Gitlab • Experience with configuration management (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, SaltStack) • Knowledge of Linux kernel internals (PCIe topology, VFIO, memory management) **Bonus Skills:** Distributed GPU ecosystems (NVIDIA/AMD), RDMA/RoCE/InfiniBand, MNNVL, hardware debugging tools, containerized GPU orchestration **Compensation:** $170,000 - $205,000 + Bonus + RSUs **Benefits:** Competitive equity, PTO, comprehensive health/dental/vision, HSA contributions, parental leave, professional development, wellness support, 401(k) match, and more.
