**Senior Technical Program Manager - Capacity Planning** **About the Role** Own Snowflake's capacity planning program end-to-end across multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP). Drive cross-functional alignment between Engineering, Infrastructure, Finance, and Cloud Provider teams to ensure capacity meets growth projections, seasonal demand, and new product launches. **Key Responsibilities** • Manage demand forecasting and resource modeling to procurement coordination and delivery tracking • Build and improve forecasting models translating business signals into actionable capacity plans • Establish governance and review cadences with engineering leadership • Proactively identify and mitigate capacity risks before customer impact • Partner with engineering teams on workload characteristics and architecture changes • Drive efficiency programs to reduce waste and optimize infrastructure spend • Develop dashboards and metrics for real-time capacity visibility • Influence infrastructure strategy with data-driven recommendations **Required Experience** • 7+ years in technical program management, infrastructure planning, or capacity management at cloud-scale companies • Experience managing programs across multiple cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure: compute, storage, networking, containerization • Expertise in demand forecasting and resource modeling at scale • Proven ability to drive cross-functional programs with VP/Director-level stakeholders • Excellent communication and executive storytelling skills • Strong program management fundamentals: dependency tracking, risk management, governance **Preferred Qualifications** • Hyperscale infrastructure experience (10K+ node deployments) • Cloud cost management and FinOps knowledge • Data platform or data warehousing background • Monitoring/observability tools experience (Grafana, Datadog, CloudWatch) • Automated capacity planning systems experience • Fast-growth, high-ambiguity environment experience **Compensation** (US-based) • Market 1 (Bay Area, NYC, Seattle): $194K-$291K base | $223.1K-$334.65K total • Market 2: $165K-$248K base | $189.75K-$285.2K total • Market 3: $155K-$233K base | $178.25K-$267.95K total • Equity (RSUs), medical, dental, vision, 401(k), ESPP, generous PTO **Why Join** Work on infrastructure powering AI and data workloads at global scale.
