We're seeking a highly motivated Information Systems Security Officer to support our critical information security infrastructure. **Key Responsibilities** • Implement and maintain information security protocols • Conduct security risk assessments and vulnerability analyses • Ensure compliance with NIST, FISMA, and relevant security frameworks • Manage system accreditation and authorization processes • Develop and update security documentation • Perform periodic security audits and reporting • Support incident response and mitigation efforts • User account creation, modification, and access control management • Manage and execute system updates and security patches • Implement and test backup procedures • Monitor system performance and generate reports • Conduct daily operational tasks and health checks **Minimum Qualifications** • Active Secret-level security clearance • 3-5+ years of information systems security and administration experience • Comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity principles and system administration • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong technical skills in system management and security **Preferred Qualifications** • CMMC, CISSP, or Security+ certifications • DoD or government security experience • Enterprise-level system management tools proficiency • Network and system security architecture knowledge • Risk management frameworks experience • Windows and Linux proficiency • Virtualization and cloud technologies knowledge • Scripting and automation skills **Compensation & Benefits** 💰 $80,000 – $100,000 USD ✈️ **Perks Include:** Restricted & Performance Stock Units • Onsite healthcare in Vermont • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision coverage • Paid parental leave • Daily lunch provided • Flight lessons • Disability coverage *We encourage all driven candidates to apply, even if you don't meet every qualification.
