**Senior Information Security Ops Analyst** **About the Role** BETA Technologies is seeking an experienced Senior Information Security Analyst to join our Information Security division. This pivotal role is designed for a seasoned security professional ready to take on greater responsibility while building and strengthening cyber defense operations. **Key Responsibilities** • Lead and mentor incident response activities; manage triage and analysis workflows • Serve as senior responder for critical incidents; lead IR investigations from detection through remediation • Design, implement, and optimize security controls across the enterprise • Research and operationalize AI/ML solutions to enhance threat detection and security automation • Conduct advanced threat analysis and develop indicators of compromise • Ensure security activities align with regulatory requirements • Collaborate cross-functionally with IT operations, engineering, and business units **Minimum Qualifications** • 7+ years hands-on information security operational experience • 5+ years incident response and forensics experience • Expertise in security controls design, implementation, and assessment • Proven ability to mentor junior security professionals • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Relevant security certifications (GIAC, CISSP, CEH, or equivalent) • Experience with SIEM platforms, EDR, and security orchestration tools **Nice to Have** • AI/ML in cybersecurity implementation experience • Familiarity with Splunk, Elastic, CrowdStrike, Sentinel • Advanced threat hunting and data science techniques • Python, PowerShell, or scripting proficiency • Cloud security experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) • Industry thought leadership experience **Compensation & Benefits** $135,000 – $175,000 USD Competitive total compensation package including RSUs, PSUs, onsite healthcare, comprehensive medical/dental/vision, paid parental leave, daily lunch, and flight lessons. **Equal Opportunity Employer** BETA Technologies does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic.
