**Data Scientist** at BetterHelp **About the Role** Join BetterHelp's data team to optimize marketing efforts using cutting-edge methods and large-scale data analysis. You'll develop and maintain marketing models including Bayesian Marketing Mix Models and Multi-Touch Attribution models. **Key Responsibilities** • Extract insights from large datasets and partner with marketing teams on data-driven optimization • Develop, implement, and maintain marketing models and attribution systems • Monitor and analyze marketing uplift tests with statistical rigor • Build testable models and algorithms with measurable business impact • Present data insights to drive marketing decisions **Requirements** • BSc/MA in quantitative discipline (Statistics, Math, Economics, CS, Operations Research, Engineering) • 3+ years in quantitative data analysis role (marketing, product, UX) with large datasets • Strong expertise in statistics, hypothesis testing, and experiment design • Experience with A/B testing and advanced methods (diff-in-diff, regression discontinuity, panel data) • Proficiency in predictive and causal inference modeling • Advanced SQL and Python/R skills • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences **Bonus Skills** • Bayesian modeling, Marketing Mix Models, Multi-Touch Attribution • Two-sided marketplace analysis, B2C/marketplace experience • BI tools (Tableau, Looker) **What You Won't Do** • Worry about runway or funding concerns • Stay confined to your job description • Deal with office politics or burnout **Benefits** • Remote work with 3 annual office visits + company offsite (PST timezone) • Salary: $130,000–$160,000 + performance bonus • Free therapy, wellness programs, health/dental/vision coverage • 401k with employer matching • Hardware/software for productivity **Learn More** Visit betterhelp.com/careers or official LinkedIn/Indeed pages for more details.
