**Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Systems Engineer III)** **About the Role** As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Ophelia, you'll own reliability, availability, and performance for our GCP platform supporting telehealth treatment for opioid use disorder. Our stack: TypeScript/Node, React, Firebase, and Cloud Run on GCP. You'll drive our system stability initiative—from defining and operationalizing SLOs to building observability, incident response, and infrastructure as code. You'll be the DRI for MTTR and availability KPIs, partner on security/compliance controls, and level up our fullstack team's DevOps skills. **Key Responsibilities** • Own reliability, availability, and performance of our GCP platform; define SLOs/SLIs • Build observability and incident response; extend Cloud Operations setup and move to PagerDuty • Grow infrastructure as code (Terraform) and improve CI/CD pipeline • Harden security and compliance controls in partnership with IT • Multiply the team through documentation, runbooks, pairing, and code review • Take ownership of projects end-to-end in a remote, growth-stage environment **Required Skills** • 5+ years engineering experience; 3+ in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE roles • Expert-level GCP fluency (Cloud Run, Cloud Operations, IAM, Firebase/Firestore); Terraform strongly preferred • Expert in infrastructure automation (e.g., Python); strong shell scripting; comfortable with TypeScript/Node • Production operations experience: on-call, incident response, SLO definition • Quantitative fluency (percentiles, tail latency, error budgets, burn-rate alerting) • Senior-level ownership and communication; hands-on AI tool usage in engineering work **Preferred** • Passion for making addiction treatment universally accessible • Background in regulated industries (healthcare/telehealth); hands-on HIPAA or SOC 2 experience **Compensation & Benefits** $140,000–$150,000 USD | Medical/vision/dental insurance | 20 PTO days (increasing with tenure) | 10 company holidays | WFH stipend | 401k | Additional benefits **Remote Position**
