In 2026, we shipped **Chloe**, an AI agent that makes sales calls and works inside the CRM. ## Roles - **Backend Engineers (Senior / Staff)** - **Sr. Software Engineer, Marketing** ## Location **REMOTE (US)** ## Tech Stack (Backend) - **Python** - **Flask / FastAPI** - **MongoDB** - **PostgreSQL** - **Elasticsearch** ## Teams ### 1) CRM - Agentic enrichment - AI search - Making the CRM usable by any MCP agent - **Elasticsearch experience is a big plus** ### 2) Backend Platforms - Building “paved roads” for engineers (API patterns, observability) - Migration/standardization from **Flask to FastAPI** - Guardrails for agent-written code ## What You’ll Own - Shipped **LLM features to real users** - Owned **production systems** ### Marketing (Sr. Software Engineer) - Own **motion & interactivity**, **performance**, **SEO**, and **conversion tracking** - Build tools so Marketing can ship without waiting on engineering - First engineer dedicated to **close.com** (Astro, Sanity, Vercel) ## Requirements - **Backend:** experience shipping production systems and LLM features - **Marketing:** **5+ years** building marketing sites with analytics (e.g., **Segment/Amplitude-style**) ## Apply https://close.com/careers
