## Overview AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through strategic solutions in Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training. ## Responsibilities - Administer and sustain mission-data and database services supporting Red LAN applications, including data storage, data integrity, access controls, backups, performance, and recovery. - Support schema/data validation, structured-data handling, data transformation, and interface dependencies for Bifrost, customer additions, and other approved mission-data changes. - Conduct performance tuning of indexes and databases. - Review database design and system integration; provide backup/recovery support and recommendations for enhancements and improvements. - Maintain security and integrity controls. - Formulate database management policies, procedures, and standards; monitor transaction activity and utilization. - May develop stored procedures and/or triggers. - Administer a variety of database systems. - Develop and enforce database administration and user standards and procedures; audit, modify, and amend data using SQL commands. - Oversee scheduling of database projects, database and transaction log backups, notifications, and database replication between multiple SQL Servers and remote sites. - Review technical designs, reports, documentation, and other materials; create and maintain high-level reporting systems. - Research and implement new database and online technologies. ## Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree - 5–7 years of related work experience - U.S. Citizenship - Active TS/SCI Clearance ## Pay Transparency AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency.
