## Overview AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through strategic solutions in **Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training**. ## Responsibilities - Lead platform and infrastructure sustainment for **Red LAN** servers, virtualized services, operating environments, storage, accounts, patches, backups/restorations, and system configurations. - Oversee maintenance execution and approved technical changes. - Resolve escalated infrastructure issues and ensure platform readiness to support: - Availability and operational continuity - Cybersecurity compliance - Engineering/test activity - Maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network engineers. - Monitor and manage system resources (e.g., **CPU usage, disk usage, response times**) to maintain operating efficiency. - Perform systems security administration (e.g., creating user profiles and accounts). - Additional duties may include: - Setting up administrator accounts - Maintaining system documentation - Tuning system performance - Installing system-wide software - Allocating mass storage space - Interact with users and evaluate vendor products. - Recommend hardware/software purchases; coordinate installation and backup recovery. - Develop and monitor policies/standards for computing resource allocation. - May be assigned responsibility for less experienced staff. ## Qualifications - **Bachelor’s degree** - **8–10 years** of related work experience - **US Citizen** - **Active Top Secret Clearance** ## Pay Transparency - Salary range: **$115,000.00/yr – $170,000/yr** - Actual compensation will be determined based on factors permitted by law. ## Benefits AMERICAN SYSTEMS provides a comprehensive benefits program, including: - Healthcare benefits - Paid leave - Retirement plans - Insurance programs - Education and training assistance ## EEO Statement EEO Race/Sex/Disability Status/Veteran Status
