**Peraton — Systems / Software Test Engineer (TS/SCI Required)** **Location:** Herndon, VA or Aurora, CO ## Responsibilities - Maintain and enhance test scripts; create and execute test procedures to support **development, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT)** - Design and write **test plans and procedures** - Analyze test results and develop/review code as needed - Document bugs in **Jira** and provide test reports - Support testing for **satellite situational awareness (SSA)** data processing and distribution within the **EMMETT** program (Space Domain Awareness I&W) ## Required Qualifications - **Bachelor’s + 12+ years** relevant experience, **or** **Master’s + 10+ years** relevant experience - Four (4) additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree - Must possess a minimum **Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility** and **pass a polygraph within 30 days** of employment (or at customer request) - Must maintain clearance - Experience with **software testing** - Experience creating **test plans/procedures** - Experience in an **Agile** environment (development, integration, preprod, production) - Familiarity with one or more: **Rancher, Kafka, Kubernetes, Active MQ** - Baseline utilization of core tools (to execute testing tasks without team guidance), including: **IC Connect, Swagger, Rancher, Elastic** - Functional understanding of system environment/cluster configurations (including identifying and setting up **API locations**) - Working knowledge of services architecture and how system functionalities interact - Proactive independent information gathering/self-study to show measurable progress between syncs - Experience with **Jira, Jenkins, GitLab, Ansible** ## Desired Qualifications - **Active polygraph** preferred - Experience supporting customer-facing test events or requirement sell-off activities - Experience in **Linux** environments - Experience with an **RDBMS** (Postgres, MySQL, etc.) - Experience creating/maintaining automated testing scripts/tools (e.g., **Selenium, Cypress**) ## Benefits (Highlights) - Heavily subsidized employee benefits for you and your dependents - **25 days PTO** accrued annually (up to a generous cap) - Eligible to participate in an attractive **bonus plan** ## Salary Range **$146,000 – $234,000** (typical range; final offer depends on factors including experience, education, location, and contract/business considerations) *Peraton is an Equal Opportunity Employer (including disability and protected veterans, or other characteristics protected by law).*
