We’ve raised **$125M (Series B)** and our platform includes **LangSmith** (Observability, Evaluation, Deployment, Fleet, and Sandboxes), open-source frameworks like **LangChain, LangGraph,** and **Deep Agents**, and the newly launched **LangSmith Engine**. ## Role: IT Systems Administrator (Founding IT) — San Francisco We’re hiring an **IT Systems Administrator** to join the founding IT team in **San Francisco**. You’ll run most of our SaaS stack day to day—handling maintenance, configuration changes, access, and troubleshooting—and build automation to keep everything running as we grow. This is a “do a bit of everything” role: helping employees who are locked out, shipping infrastructure changes (e.g., Terraform), and building automation that removes manual work. ## What You’ll Do ### SaaS Administration - Own day-to-day administration of our SaaS stack (maintenance, configuration changes, license management) - Administer **LangSmith** and use APIs to automate admin work - Administer identity and permissions across core SaaS platforms including **Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, Zoom,** and **Microsoft 365** ### Automation and Tooling - Develop scripts, integrations, and reusable workflows using low/no-code tools - Connect systems via APIs and event-driven workflows to reduce manual work ### Identity Management - Administer **Okta** and user access - Manage Okta group rules to support our **RBAC** policy - Create repeatable standards and automation for employee lifecycle, group management, application provisioning, and access reviews ### Client Platform Administration - Administer our **MDM** platform (**Iru**) for policy enforcement, patching, zero-touch deployment, and desktop environment configuration - Automate the hardware lifecycle (procurement, assignment, return, recycling) ### Core IT Operations - Provide hands-on troubleshooting and support (office + remote) across hardware, software, networking, and SaaS tools - Build and maintain the harness for our **AI ITSM agent** (tools, playbooks, and knowledge to resolve issues) - Write documentation and playbooks; use recurring support issues to identify what to automate next ## What You’ll Bring - **3+ years** experience in IT systems administration or IT engineering (ideally at a fast-growing startup) - Experience administering a broad SaaS stack (e.g., **Google Workspace, Slack, Notion**, and AI tools like **Claude/ChatGPT**) - Hands-on experience with **Okta** (SSO, SCIM provisioning, Okta Workflows) - Comfort with **REST APIs**, **webhooks**, and API authentication methods - Experience using coding agents (e.g., **Claude Code**) as part of daily workflow - Experience with **macOS MDM** and endpoint security tooling - Strong networking fundamentals (**TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, wireless**) - Clear communication and patience with non-technical users ## Compensation - **Annual salary range:** **$150,000–$170,000 USD** - Compensation includes base salary, variable compensation (for relevant roles), meaningful equity, and benefits/perks. - Actual compensation varies by role, level, and location. ## Benefits - Medical, dental, and vision coverage - Flexible vacation - 401(k) - Meals on in-office days (US) and more
