With the Consilio Complete suite, the company empowers multinational law firms and corporations through innovative software, cost-effective managed services, and deep legal and regulatory expertise. ## Role: Software Architect The Software Architect is a problem solver who makes intuitive, high-level decisions for enterprise software design and development. You’ll create architectural approaches and a framework that guides the development team toward high-quality solutions aligned to business requirements. ## Responsibilities - Shape the technical vision for software projects, systems, or platforms (architecture, design, and development) - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and improve company products, systems, and technical processes - Research and evaluate new technologies, languages, and design patterns - Define project scope and execution plans; assess risks, challenges, and cost analysis - Work closely with the Product team to advance organizational technologies (evaluation of new products and custom development) - Create and maintain moderate to highly complex solutions (data infrastructure, reporting, and applications) - Own the full project lifecycle: requirements gathering, solution design, development, and system testing - Coordinate implementation and training for new programs and systems - Analyze end-user data needs and develop user-oriented solutions that integrate with existing applications - Maintain documentation for work processes and procedures - Identify and recommend product customizations, enhancements, or workarounds to meet business requirements - Provide backup support as needed - Peer review and approve final code (ready to deploy) - Coach and train team members to ensure confident use of software applications - Develop functional unit testing for test automation - Ensure software meets quality, security, modifiability, and extensibility requirements - Communicate concepts and guidelines effectively to the development team ## Additional Details - Act as a technical liaison to other departments; may support Case/Client efforts using technology and critical thinking - Coordinate or lead portions of technology projects - Work with minimal supervision; make decisions within an established range and escalate to the Manager when necessary - Design workflow charts and diagrams; study system capabilities; write specifications ## Qualifications **Minimum Education** - Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (or related field) *or* comparable business/technical experience **Minimum Experience** - 3–7 years of application development experience (programming, data management, collection, modeling, and interpretation across complex data sets) - 3–7 years of software architecture, design, development, and implementation **Required Skills / Experience** - Programming skills (database, system, or scripting) - Strong SQL skills; experience with Microsoft SQL Server tables and connectivity - Expert-level understanding of Object-Oriented Programming methodologies - Experience designing full-stack, scalable, maintainable, high-performance solutions - Ability to develop alternative solutions for complex problems and recommend the best approach - Advanced analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills - Mastery of test strategies, test plans, and test execu
