**Senior Product Engineer (AI, Full-Stack)** **About AZX** We accelerate positive impact in critical industries through AI transformation. We specialize in physics-informed ML and enterprise AI solutions for climate and sustainability challenges. We work with leaders like CBRE, LevelTen Energy, Flexe, and utilities on clean energy, decarbonization, and climate risk. **The Role** Own demos from schema to pixel—deployment and observability included. You'll build chat surfaces, agent workspaces, app builders, and component systems. Enterprise readiness (accessibility, localization, audit trails) ships as a feature, not a promise. Full-stack ownership: TypeScript frontend, Node/FastAPI backend, Postgres, deployment, and on-call. **Key Responsibilities** • Build chat surfaces and agent workspaces with streaming, persistence, tool UX, and citations • Partner on app builder: templates, toolchain, preview sandbox, generation/repair loops • Maintain design system consistency across chat, workspaces, and app builder • Build agent-facing developer experience (CLI, deploy tooling, manifests) • Own full stack: frontend, BFF, schema, deployment, observability • Ship enterprise features as first-class: accessibility, localization, audit trails • Debug across product/backend/platform seams **Core Qualifications** • 5+ years production React/TypeScript (streaming UIs, virtualization, state management) • End-to-end streaming protocol experience (SSE/WebSocket) with hands-on debugging • True full-stack: shipped backends for your own frontends (Node/Fastify or Python/FastAPI) • Product taste backed by enterprise experience (accessibility, error states, localization) • AI-native workflow with daily coding tool use and concrete override examples • Strong ownership: instrumentation, evals, cost awareness, on-call included • Practical depth in TypeScript, React 19, TanStack Query, Vite, Node/Fastify or FastAPI, Postgres/Redis, SSE/WebSocket • Familiarity with zod, sandboxed iframes, Playwright/Vitest, WCAG 2.2 AA, i18n, OIDC/OAuth2 • Bachelor's Degree (Master's a plus) **Why AZX** • Fast-growing, profitable, mission-driven company with industry-leading clients • Competitive early-stage compensation + bonus, equity, health insurance • Flexible PTO • Fully remote with Seattle cluster **Requirements** • Authorized to work in the US full-time (no visa sponsorship available) • Able to travel 2x/year for company summits • Interview includes take-home assignment + 2-hour technical session • Apply to max 2 roles per 6-month period **Note:** Don't check all boxes?
