**AI Engineer** **About Capsule** Capsule is building an intuitive AI-powered video editing tool for modern teams. Series A startup backed by top-tier investors, with 100+ enterprise clients including HubSpot, ServiceNow, and Instacart. **The Role** Work with founders and cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deploy ML models powering new video editing features. **Responsibilities** • Research and evaluate new ML techniques for product application • Collaborate on identifying and prioritizing ML feature opportunities • Develop and implement ML models and algorithms • Optimize model performance through testing and iteration • Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance • Stay current with ML engineering trends and best practices • Work in a fast-paced startup environment **Requirements** • 3+ years as an AI/ML engineer in commercial software • Computer Science or related degree • Strong Python proficiency and deep learning framework experience (e.g., PyTorch) • Data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model optimization experience • Production ML deployment experience • Strong problem-solving and communication skills • Entrepreneurial mindset with high EQ • Interest in video technology • CI/CD experience (a plus) **Benefits** • Competitive salary and stock options • Comprehensive insurance (medical, dental, vision, life) • Generous paid time off
