The team delivers mission-critical capabilities across the kill chain—**detection, tracking, identification, deterrence, and defeat**—through a networked family of sensors and effectors. The team develops, tests, deploys, and sustains the Air Defense Family of Systems in challenging operational environments worldwide. **About the Job** Anduril is hiring a **Systems Test Engineer** to join the team in **Costa Mesa, CA**. Deployments often include unique combinations of hardware and software in different configurations for different mission sets and customer expectations. You’ll own the technical success of the end-to-end solution shipped. --- ## What You’ll Do - **Lead integration** of emerging capabilities and bring new products into the family of systems (scoping and executing hardware/software solutions, internal and external). - **Lead requirements decomposition** across cross-functional teams, defining success in the face of ambiguity. - **Scope ideal system laydown**, scrutinize system performance, ensure deployed systems meet customer requirements, and make tradeoffs across capability, timelines, risk, and cost. - **Own systems end-to-end**, identify and solve problems between “seams,” and drive to the ultimate outcome. --- ## Required Qualifications - **1–3 years** of hardware and software systems engineering experience. - Degree in **Engineering, Physics, Robotics, Mathematics,** or related field. - Demonstrated use of **Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)** across a program lifecycle. - Experience with tools such as **JAMA, Cameo, MATLAB, Simulink, AFSIM**. - Experience with **Python, C/C++, or Rust** for analysis and simulation. - Skilled in **Statistics, AI/ML, MBSE, Requirements**. - Demonstrated proficiency applying engineering standards into engineering processes/requirements. - Demonstrated experience collaborating across cross-functional teams. - Comfortable working with ambiguity, evolving priorities, and challenging problems. - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - **Must be authorized to work in the United States.** - **Up to 25% travel** to customer sites. --- ## Preferred Qualifications - Familiarity with **Linux**; comfortable obtaining data via **command-line tools**. - Previous experience in **defense, naval, or aerospace** environments. - **DO-178, MIL-STD-882E,** Airworthiness, or Compliance experience. - Experience with: **robotics, autonomous systems, radar, optics, computer vision, wireless communication, software-defined radios, networking**. - Experience designing **test architecture** for verification & validation campaigns. - Exceptional proficiency with **Python and/or MATLAB** for data parsing and visualization. - Experience with **CII, Jenkins,** or automation pipelines. --- ## Salary Range (US) **$112,000 — $149,000 USD** (base salary estimate; equity and benefits may be included in total compensation). --- ## Benefits Anduril offers a comprehensive, competitive benefits package (available at little to no cost to
