**Software Engineer — Aerovy** **About Aerovy** Aerovy is the operating layer for hardware OEMs. We take signals coming off equipment in mobility, industrial, material handling, and construction, and normalize them into a unified model for assets, components, health, and events across brands and model years. With Aerovy, OEMs can: - **Launch an AI ecosystem for their hardware**: branded apps, connected services, and subscription tiers - **Elevate aftermarket service**: diagnose faults, dispatch the right technician with the right part, and close the job with reporting—improving first-time fix rates and reducing time to acknowledgement/response - **Cut warranty cost and service spend**: predictive failure detection, automated triage, and AI-driven root-cause across their install base We’re a fast-paced startup building the digital infrastructure for the next generation of intelligent hardware (founded in 2023; growing rapidly). --- **Job Summary** As a **Software Engineer** at Aerovy, you’ll help architect and deliver core components of our **cloud platform**, serving **real-time applications** across energy, IoT, telematics, and AI. You’ll work on a modular, extensible system powering use cases from **EV fleets and battery platforms** to **industrial equipment and robotics**. This is a **hands-on, full-stack** role where you’ll own features end-to-end—from concept to launch—working closely with a nimble, high-caliber team. --- **Responsibilities** - Function **independently and proactively** with support from your team - Own delivery **end-to-end** based on requirements you’re given - Collaborate with **cross-functional teams** to deliver business-critical features and services - Own **reliability, scalability, maintainability, and performance** of critical production systems --- **Job Requirements** - **2+ years** experience contributing to a software engineering team - **BS/MS/PhD** in CS, scientific, engineering field, or equivalent experience - Passion for **finding and solving hard problems** - Passion for **learning and growing** technically and non-technically - Strong **problem-solving** skills and a passion for technology innovation --- **Nice to Haves** - Solid experience with **Cloud / Infrastructure as Code (IaaC)**, preferably **AWS** (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, AWS Batch, DynamoDB, CloudFormation/CDK, etc.) - Solid experience with **Docker / containerized applications** - Experience with **near real-time / real-time analytics** and **time series databases** - Proficiency in **C#** --- **Additional Notes** - **Hybrid role** based in **Seattle** - Flexibility while ensuring close collaboration with product, engineering, and business stakeholders
