**Product Operations Engineer, Government Applications Special Programs** **About the Role** SpaceX is seeking a Product Operations Engineer to operate and deploy AI capabilities for U.S. federal agencies. You'll work with product, research, infrastructure, and legal/governance teams to make AI models maximally useful for government missions while maintaining SpaceX's standards for transparency and ethics. **Key Responsibilities** • Own the health, performance, and stability of integrations between frontier AI models and government systems, platforms, and data environments • Respond to automated alerts and investigate customer-reported issues during on-call shifts • Tackle critical issues for key government customers and introduce observability into complex systems • Address technical debt in essential codebases and inform strategic investments in core products • Share technical expertise with adjacent product teams **What We're Looking For** Engineers who enjoy deep-dive troubleshooting, feel strong ownership over problems, and recognize the urgency of customer-facing outages.
