Customers use Canals to process orders, manage purchasing, handle accounts payable, and streamline critical business workflows. We’re a profitable, rapidly growing company (~100 people) distributed across North and South America. --- ## The Role — Implementation Engineer (ERP Integrations) We’re hiring an **Implementation Engineer for ERP integrations** to help customers connect their ERP systems (including **Eclipse, P21, and Infor**) with **Canals**. You’ll be a central part of onboarding and implementation—**configuring integrations, validating data flows, and becoming an expert** in how Canals interacts with distributor ERPs. This is a **technical, customer-facing** role with both pre-sale and post-sale ownership. --- ## What You’ll Do - Implement integrations between Canals and ERP partners (e.g., **Eclipse, P21, Infor, SAP, Acumatica**) using standardized templates and API credentials - Become an ERP subject-matter expert (data handling, access, authentication, configuration) - Join pre-sale discovery calls to assess feasibility and answer ERP-specific technical questions - Lead post-sale integration work: - collect access details - configure endpoints - run API tests to establish new data integrations - validate end-to-end data flow - Troubleshoot integration issues and escalate when needed (Lead Support Engineer or Engineering) - Own the integration process during onboarding and go-live calls - Document integration steps, ERP nuances, and repeatable best practices - Collaborate with Customer Success, Support, Product, and Engineering to ensure smooth go-lives - Occasionally cover support (Zendesk) as needed --- ## What You’ll Bring - Typically **2–4 years** in technical implementation, technical account management, integrations, or customer engineering (SaaS) - Enjoy working directly with customers—managing implementations and troubleshooting - Familiarity with **APIs**, REST endpoints, authentication methods, and **JSON payloads** - Experience with ERPs (or strong desire to learn **Eclipse, P21, Infor** deeply) - Strong communication skills—able to explain technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical users - Excellent organization and project management - Comfortable in a fast-moving, fully remote environment with high ownership - **English required**; **Spanish or Portuguese** is a plus --- ## Why Join Canals - Build software that solves real problems for an industry that keeps the world running - Strong product-market fit and rapid growth - Remote-first, flexible, distributed team across North and South America - Values: ownership, transparency, continuous improvement Canals.ai is an equal opportunity employer.
