You’ll own features **end to end** across **frontend, backend, and data boundaries**—including the UI, APIs/data models, and accrual workflows that turn transaction data into accurate results. **Great fit if you have 3–5 years of experience** and enjoy working across the stack with real ownership of a product where **financial accuracy matters**. --- ## Why It’s a Big Deal - Build accessible, maintainable features in a **React + TypeScript** application and connect them to backend APIs. - Design and implement **Java services**, REST endpoints, business rules, and data access for rebate workflows. - Work with **SQL-backed and document data**, including schema changes and migrations. - Contribute to **accrual processing** and troubleshoot data correctness/performance in distributed jobs. - Write **unit, integration, and end-to-end tests**, review code, and investigate production issues. - Partner to improve **build, deployment, and observability** workflows. --- ## Here’s What We’re Looking For - **3–5 years** of professional software engineering experience across frontend and backend. - Strong **Java** skills + hands-on experience with **React** and **TypeScript**. - Working knowledge of **SQL**, **API design**, and **automated testing**. - Ability to deliver well-scoped work independently and collaborate across application/data/deployment boundaries. - **AI-assisted development** experience strongly preferred (e.g., **GitHub Copilot**, **Claude**, or similar). --- ## Technology Experience (Examples) - **Spring Boot**, Dropwizard, JDBI, Liquibase, **Microsoft SQL Server**, Azure Cosmos DB - **Azure DevOps**, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, or other Azure services - Databricks, Delta Lake, or data-intensive financial calculations - Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright, JUnit --- ## Why This Role Matters at Conga - Rebates is a core capability across pricing, quoting, contracting, and commercial operations—your work shapes how customers run rebate programs. - **Accrual accuracy** has real financial impact, so correctness and reliability are critical. - You’ll work across the full stack (UI → services → data processing) to build broad technical depth. - Help raise the bar on **testing, deployment, and observability** as the platform scales. --- ## U.S. Base Salary Range **$97,620 — $156,190 USD** (Individual pay depends on skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
