**Staff Software Engineer, Program Structure & Trust** **About the Role** Own the design and multi-quarter delivery of Vanta's enterprise org model, including hierarchical product lines, business units, data isolation, cross-cutting audit workflows, scoped approvals, and data residency support. This is a defining technical role establishing the foundation for how enterprise customers structure and operate within Vanta's platform. **Key Responsibilities** • Design and deliver enterprise org model architecture across multiple quarters • Define core abstractions for diverse, conflicting enterprise requirements • Retrofit live production systems toward multi-tenant structure with safe migration paths • Ship meaningful customer value each quarter while progressing toward full solution • Drive execution across squads through technical clarity and credibility • Partner with Engineering, Product, and Design on phased delivery • Set technical standards and model engineering excellence **What We're Looking For** • 10+ years deep backend engineering experience leading complex, multi-quarter initiatives • Track record designing platform abstractions for messy enterprise requirements • Experience shipping large, structurally complex problems incrementally • Effective cross-squad collaboration and alignment building • Deep familiarity with enterprise patterns: tenancy, RBAC, data isolation, access boundaries • Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders • Data residency/GovCloud experience a plus • Open to using AI to amplify skills and improve efficiency **What You'll Get** Competitive salary & equity • Comprehensive health coverage (100% employee premiums) • 16 weeks paid parental leave • Health & wellness stipend • Remote workspace stipend • 401(k) matching • Flexible PTO + 80 hours sick time • 11 company holidays • Offices in SF, NYC, London, Dublin, Tel Aviv, Sydney **About Vanta** Vanta helps businesses earn and prove trust through continuous security monitoring and verification.
