**Embedded Software Engineer** **Company:** Paradromics **Location:** Austin, TX or Oakland, CA **Type:** Onsite, Full-time **About the Role:** Paradromics is building a high bandwidth brain-machine interface for clinical use. We're seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to help develop and harden embedded Linux components that work with FPGAs and custom ASICs to read neural data in real time. **Key Responsibilities:** • HIL testing on real devices • Integrating new sensor ASICs • Maintaining Yocto build system • Prototype exploratory work • Improving clinical UX • Developing core data reception and processing code **Required Experience:** • Constructing reliable and understandable software in Linux • Building and interacting with embedded hardware • Motivated and driven approach to engineering **Preferred Skills:** • Rust experience (ideal but not required) • TypeScript, bash, bitbake recipes **Tech Stack:** Rust, TypeScript, Linux, FPGA, ASIC **To Apply:** Email resume and brief introduction to: ehuber@paradromics.com
