**Senior Enterprise Engineer** **Location:** Broomfield, CO (Hybrid) Bertram Labs is the technology consulting and transformation arm of Bertram Capital, a private equity firm focused on investments in lower middle market companies. Bertram emphasizes reinvestment and technology enablement to drive growth and value through digital marketing, e-commerce, big data and analytics, application development, and internal/external platform optimization. **Position Overview** Bertram Labs is seeking a **Senior Enterprise Engineer** to work across Bertram Capital and its portfolio companies. You will: - Design, build, and scale Bertram’s internal **CRM system** for Bertram Capital and portfolio companies - Lead **ERP-to-ERP migrations** for portfolio companies transitioning between platforms You’ll be an adaptable individual contributor who can work with existing systems while building new enterprise solutions—bringing best practices, evolving technical knowledge, and strong collaboration with developers, UI/UX designers, and stakeholders. **Recent Project Examples** - Web/mobile-enabled product catalog for sales reps - Data lake connecting 9 ERPs across a dozen divisions - Machine learning to speed integration of acquired companies’ parts inventories - Prototyping a solution for common marketing sites for new acquisitions - AI to analyze insurance claim text and photos for supplement generation - Replacing a bespoke ecommerce system with a more standard, flexible solution - Application to merge Shopify and inventory data to predict procurement needs **Responsibilities** - Partner with business stakeholders to understand problems and make build-vs-buy decisions - Lead design, development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of an open-source enterprise platform - Integrate current systems and data sources; plan and execute data migrations, APIs, and workflow integrations - Lead end-to-end ERP-to-ERP migrations (assessment, mapping, cleansing/conversion, cutover planning, validation, and post-go-live stabilization) - Coordinate with project management on scope, timelines, milestones, risks, and status updates - Evaluate and implement solutions that improve enterprise operations, scalability, and user adoption - Design, develop, test, and maintain solutions that meet client and business requirements - Collaborate with UI/UX designers to build intuitive, visually appealing interfaces **Qualifications** - Bachelor’s degree - Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience - Experience gathering requirements with end users and deploying enterprise systems - Experience developing with **Google Cloud, AWS, and/or Azure** - Experience with multiple languages (e.g., **Java, Python, JavaScript**) - Experience building or implementing proprietary and/or open-source enterprise applications - Hands-on experience customizing/building CRM platforms (e.g., **Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics 365, SuiteCRM, Odoo**) - Proven track record leading full-lifecycle **ERP-to-ERP migrations** - Understanding of CRM/ERP integration (customer master data, quoting, order-to-cash workflows) - Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery frameworks - Experience with integration patterns (messaging, APIs, etc.) - Solid database design and management experience - Strong software architecture and design understanding - Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking in fast-paced environments - Strong written/verbal communication; ability to explain technical conc
