## At Braze — Senior Software Engineer I, Core Objects Braze is looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to help power our Core Objects team—responsible for the customer data structures that form the foundation of our industry-leading customer engagement platform. ### What you’ll do - Own and evolve Core Objects systems and features that enable customers to use Braze effectively and implement innovative strategies. - Extend a high-scale ingestion pipeline to ingest new and advanced data objects. - Optimize performance and cost. - Own a complex backend system that enables the broader product offering. - Integrate AI into daily workflows using agentic tools to navigate a large Ruby monolith, build proof of concepts, and move quickly and safely from an idea to a working solution. ### Who you are - 5+ years of full-stack development experience - Experienced technical leader - Strong understanding of design, data structures, and algorithms - A self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills, with prior experience working in a team environment **Bonus points:** - Professional experience building software at scale - Experience with one or more of: Ruby, Ruby on Rails, React, Go, SQL, NoSQL databases, distributed systems, API design/monitoring/best practices - Experience with agile processes - Passion for customer experience
