**Senior Software Engineer I, Integrations and Internal Systems** **About Grove Collaborative** Sustainability-focused consumer products company creating household and personal care essentials. Certified B Corp, plastic-neutral, on a mission to transform the CPG industry for good. **About the Opportunity** Own internal systems integrations and delivery of the MCP layer. You'll maintain critical systems while identifying improvements, and build infrastructure that enables the business to scale safely with AI agents. This role spans both operational stability and greenfield development—often in the same week. **What You'll Own** • Back-office integrations (NetSuite, HighJump, data warehouse) • Grove Brain / internal MCP layer—build connectors and tools for agent operations • Security, access, and governance for agents • Hands-on enablement for teams building integrations and agents • AI-assisted development using modern tooling as a force multiplier • Performance, stability, and maintainability of production systems **About You** • 5+ years building and maintaining production system integrations (ERP/WMS platforms) • Strong software engineering fundamentals—design, debug, distinguish quick fixes from real solutions • Hands-on experience with AI tools and agent frameworks/MCP (not just familiarity) • Comfortable operating with rough direction instead of finished specs • Builder's mindset—prefer shipping over documentation • Security instinct for agent permissions and access control • Honest about knowledge gaps; comfortable saying "I haven't worked with that" • Track record learning new frameworks/languages quickly • Strong communication—explain technical tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders • Genuine enthusiasm for Grove's sustainability mission **How We Work** • High-trust environment with real scope and early decisions • Psychological safety is foundational • Direct feedback and candor in both directions • AI tooling is part of daily work, not an experiment **Even Better If You Have** • MCP server or agent-tooling experience • Airflow, Airbyte, or data-pipeline infrastructure background • NetSuite and/or HighJump integration experience • Auth/access control/auditing for AI agents on production systems • Fast-growing ecommerce company experience **What's In It For You** • Remote (CA, ME, PA, NV, NC, TX, CO, WA, IL, NY, MO, MA) • Competitive medical, vision, dental benefits • Equity • Flexible PTO • Free VIP membership + 50% employee discount • Work on products that help the planet
