**Commissioning Network Engineer II** **About the Role** We're seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Network Engineer to lead the turn-up, integration, and operational handoff of enterprise and service-provider-grade network infrastructure. As an L3 Commissioning Specialist, you'll be the final technical authority responsible for validating complex network deployments, conducting acceptance testing, and resolving critical configuration and routing issues before systems go live. **Key Responsibilities** • **System Integration** – Lead end-to-end commissioning of core routers, switches, firewalls, optical transport gear, and edge devices across data center, campus, and ISP environments • **Pre/Post-Deployment Validation** – Execute rigorous testing including failover and optical light-level verification • **Advanced Troubleshooting** – Serve as L3 escalation point during deployment windows for Layer 2/3 routing, switching, and security issues • **Cross-Functional Leadership** – Provide technical guidance to L1/L2 field technicians on fiber standards, console pinouts, and turn-up procedures **Required Qualifications** • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field (or equivalent experience) • 5+ years hands-on network engineering/deployment experience in ISP, data center, or enterprise environments • BGP (iBGP/eBGP), OSPF, IS-IS, and MPLS (L2VPN, L3VPN, VRFs) expertise • VXLAN, EVPN, STP/RSTP, LACP, VPC, and VLAN tagging experience • Direct experience with Juniper (Junos), Nokia (SR-OS/OLT), Siklu, and Ruckus hardware • Proficiency with network testing tools (IXIA, Spirent, EXFO) and scripting (Ansible, YAML) • Knowledge of optical power meters, OTDR testing, fiber types, transceiver diagnostics, and serial console mapping **Preferred Qualifications** • Exceptional root-cause analysis skills under high-pressure conditions • Ability to communicate complex technical updates to non-technical stakeholders • Flexibility for late-night maintenance windows (12 AM - 6 AM) and occasional travel **Compensation & Benefits** US Base Salary: $86,800 - $140,300 + 15% performance bonus + benefits *(Salary varies by location)* **Additional Information** • Application window open until October 4th, 2026 • Not eligible for immigration sponsorship • Equal opportunity employer
