## Engineering Manager — 3P and Catalog Gopuff is seeking an **Engineering Manager** to lead its **Catalog** and **Partner Integrations** teams. - **Catalog** builds the authoritative platforms and tools used to create, enrich, price, zone, and serve product data across Gopuff. - **Partner Integrations** connects that data (and associated inventory, promotions, orders, and fulfillment workflows) to marketplaces, strategic partners, and retail platforms such as **Shopify**. Together, these teams ensure products are accurately represented, sellable, and fulfillable across Gopuff’s first-party and partner channels. --- ## What You’ll Do - Lead and mentor teams responsible for **third-party integrations** and **core catalog and pricing platforms**. - Collaborate with engineering and product leadership to translate business requirements into technical solutions. - Scope, decompose, and organize projects across multiple teammates; delegate and coordinate to deliver with minimal oversight. - Drive delivery planning: manage dependencies, identify risks early, and communicate timelines, tradeoffs, and uncertainty. - Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and team performance to meet deliverables on schedule and within scope. - Provide clear technical direction to ensure successful execution of data platform initiatives. - Drive continuous improvement through professional development, performance management, and hiring. - Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions. - Implement system and data monitoring to ensure correctness of business processes. - Support standard development practices (idiomatic syntax, design patterns, and testing/quality). - Oversee operational support and engineering for multiple large distributed applications. --- ## What We Offer - Medical / Dental / Vision Insurance - 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan - HSA or FSA eligibility - Long and Short-Term Disability Insurance - Fitness Reimbursement Program - **25% employee discount & FAM Membership** - Flexible PTO - Group Life Insurance - EAP through AllOne Health (formerly Carebridge) --- ## Preferred Qualifications - **5+ years** software engineering experience - **3+ years** engineering management experience - Experience collaborating with functional stakeholders and building roadmaps aligned to business priorities - Experience with organizational design, team development, hiring, and performance management - Experience deploying applications/services to **Kubernetes** (e.g., **Helm, ArgoCD, Istio**) - Infrastructure as code experience (e.g., **Terraform**) - Public cloud production experience (Azure preferred) - Proficiency with **SQL**, **Postgres**, **Java**, **TypeScript** - Strong data structures/algorithms background for data-intensive systems (high velocity / high volume) - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Experience with SQL data analysis (e.g., **Snowflake/BigQuery**) and familiarity with data pipelines - Experience with message-based, async processing - Production experience with **JavaScript** & SPA technology (e.g., **React**) - **Shopify** experience is a plus --- ## Compensation - Gopuff pays based on market pricing; salary may vary by location. - **Remote Base Salary Range:** **$160,000 – $200,000** - Eligible for a discretionary annual cash bonus and participation in Gopuff’s equity incentive plan. --- #LI-GOPUFF Gopuff is an equal employment opportunity employer committed to an inclusive workplace.
