About this role

**Barbaricum — CETS: Engineer III (Network IT, IA/Cyber Support)** Barbaricum is seeking a **Network and Cybersecurity Support Specialist** to provide **network administration, IT, and cybersecurity support** for **DoD programs**. This position is primarily located at **Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), Maryland**, with occasional support at other CONUS locations as required. **Responsibilities** - Provide network administration, IT, and cybersecurity support for enterprise and standalone systems in laboratory, test, and operational environments. - Install, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade servers, workstations, laptops, printers, scanners, network devices, and other IT hardware. - Support day-to-day administration, operation, maintenance, and sustainment of secure network infrastructure and standalone systems. - Implement OS, database, firmware, and application updates; validate security patches and maintain system compliance. - Monitor system health, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and resolve technical problems to maximize availability and performance. - Support technology refresh initiatives, lifecycle upgrades, and infrastructure modernization projects. - Assist with evaluation, selection, procurement, installation, and deployment of hardware, software, lab equipment, and IT tools. - Develop and maintain inventories of IT hardware, software licenses, maintenance agreements, and lifecycle information (assets, OS, accreditation status, warranties, end-of-life). - Maintain accurate documentation for network architecture, system configurations, accreditation artifacts, configuration changes, and technical procedures. - Support cybersecurity compliance by maintaining **ATO documentation**, network diagrams, **POA&Ms**, and other security artifacts. - Ensure compliance with DoD/Army/organizational cybersecurity policies, including **IAVM** requirements and applicable security regulations. - Support certification and accreditation by documenting infrastructure modifications and maintaining security documentation. - Coordinate equipment installation, system commissioning, testing, user training, and operational support for new/upgraded technologies. - Collaborate with Government personnel, cybersecurity teams, network engineers, and mission stakeholders to maintain secure, reliable, resilient IT environments. - Monitor enterprise services, software licensing, network connectivity, service tickets, outages, and maintenance activities to ensure readiness. - Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend infrastructure improvements, system enhancements, and modernization initiatives. - Provide technical guidance and end-user support for secure storage, management, and sharing of information across Government networks. - Maintain applicable DoD cybersecurity certifications and comply with qualification requirements for privileged IT positions. - Perform additional network/IT/cybersecurity support duties as assigned. **Required Qualifications** - **Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance** - **Bachelor’s degree** in an appropriate field - **Minimum 10 years** of experience **EEO Commitment** All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to sex, race, ethnicity, age, national origin, citizenship, religion, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, family structure, marital status, ancestry, domestic partner status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, veteran/
