## Sr. Solutions Engineer ### About the role C1 empowers organizations to adopt AI securely and at speed by delivering the right access and governance to every human, workload, and agent. As a **Sr. Solutions Engineer**, you’ll help drive customer adoption and success by delivering technical expertise, guiding customers through evaluations, and architecting **secure, scalable identity and access management** solutions. You’ll work directly with customers to understand their needs, solve complex technical challenges, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the platform. ### What you’ll do - Serve as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers on **identity governance, authentication, authorization, and access control** strategies. - Architect and deliver technical solutions across **IGA, IAM, CIEM, and PAM**, mapping business requirements into scalable identity architectures. - Lead workshops, whiteboard sessions, and demos that showcase the business value of **identity automation, access governance, and zero trust**. - Design and implement integration strategies across **AWS, GCP, and Azure**, with strong knowledge of native identity services, policies, and entitlement models. - Work with and explain protocols/standards including **SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SCIM, and FIDO2** to both engineers and CISOs. - Build, test, and troubleshoot custom integrations and workflows using **APIs, SDKs, and Terraform/automation frameworks**. - Stay ahead of industry trends (e.g., **IGA, CIEM, Just-in-Time access, Zero Trust, identity for machine/non-human accounts**) and share thought leadership. ### What you’d bring - **8+ years** in technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or identity architecture (or equivalent hands-on IAM/IGA experience). - Strong understanding of **authentication/authorization**, MFA, step-up auth, conditional access, least privilege, and Zero Trust. - Practical knowledge of directory services such as **Okta, Azure AD/Entra ID, LDAP, Google Workspace, and on-prem AD**. - Hands-on cloud experience with **AWS IAM / IAM Identity Center, GCP IAM, and Azure AD/role-based access models**, including governing them with IGA. - Comfort with **Go, APIs, SDKs, JSON/YAML, scripting, automation**, and **Terraform (or similar IaC tools)**. - Excellent communication skills—able to run deep technical conversations and articulate value to business stakeholders. - Willingness to **travel** for customer meetings, partner events, or conferences. ### Extra credit - Industry-recognized certifications (e.g., **CCSP, CISSP, AWS, Azure, GCP**). - Ability to quickly diagram an **access review flow** on a whiteboard. - Enjoy building custom connectors/automations for SaaS apps and cloud infrastructure. - Strong ability to translate complex IAM errors into clear, actionable explanations. ### Equal Employment Opportunity ConductorOne, Inc. is an **Equal Employment Opportunity Employer**.
