**Workday Systems Engineer** **The Team + The Role** Pendo's People organization builds and supports the systems and processes that power the employee lifecycle. As a Workday Systems Engineer, you'll own and evolve Workday as a core part of Pendo's HCM infrastructure. You'll manage configuration across key Workday modules, translate People and Recruiting requirements into scalable solutions, and maintain the reporting, security, integrations, and processes that keep the platform reliable. **Location:** Raleigh or New York City (Hybrid - 3 days/week in-office) **Day-to-Day Responsibilities** • Workday platform ownership across HCM, Advanced Compensation, Time Tracking, and Time & Attendance • Partner with Recruiting and People organization to translate business requirements into scalable solutions • Lead Open Enrollment configuration, testing, and go-live activities • Manage Workday setup for compensation cycles (merit, bonus, equity reviews) • Troubleshoot issues, manage security configurations, and maintain data integrity • Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and calculated fields • Evaluate new Workday releases and recommend adoption • Document processes and provide training to HR team members • Manage relationships with Workday support and implementation partners **Must-Haves** • 3+ years hands-on Workday experience (HCM, Advanced Compensation, Time Tracking, Time & Attendance) • Experience configuring business processes, security roles, and reporting capabilities • Direct partnership experience with HR, People, and Recruiting stakeholders • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences **Nice-to-Haves** • Workday integrations experience (EIBs, Studio, Core Connectors) • Workday Pro certification **Compensation:** USD $102,000 - $140,000 **About Pendo** Founded in 2013, Pendo's mission is to improve society's experience with software.
