**Senior Software Engineer, Agentic CAD** **About the Role:** Awerx is a new startup business unit within Relativity Space building agentic CAD and operations tools for aerospace. We're seeking a senior engineer to own the architecture of a shared core 3D engine supporting multiple customer-specific products, lead customer-facing CAD tools, and work with AI agent swarms. **What You'll Do:** • Own the architecture of a shared core 3D engine that supports multiple customer-specific products • Support teams bringing agentic designs into reality • Turn product requirements into architecture that scales as the product line grows • Work with an agentic-first team across agent swarms and human-agent communication interfaces • Review and steer work produced by AI agents • Own the customer-facing side of product engineering while maintaining mission-critical agentic capabilities **What We're Looking For:** • 5+ years of experience in software architecture, ideally on multi-platform products (game engines, CAD tools, or similar) • Experience running agents and comfortable using agentic coding tools day-to-day with good judgment on outputs • Comfortable working across several coding languages, with deep experience in one or two • Demonstrated ability to learn entirely new domains and technologies **Nice to Have:** • Hands-on experience with CAD systems (SolidWorks, Teamcenter, NX, plugin development) • GPU/CUDA programming/tuning experience • Experience shipping software for multiple architectures with feature parity • Mechanical engineering background or experience building with CAD/3D printers **Compensation:** $154,000 – $230,000 USD Competitive salary and equity, generous PTO, parental leave, annual learning stipend, and more.
