## Hedge (YC) — Founding Engineer **Location:** San Francisco (**Onsite**) **Type:** Full-time **Comp:** **$150K–$250K** + **1–3% equity** ### About Hedge is an **AI-native insurance company**. We started as a wholesale brokerage for specialty commercial insurance, where **AI agents** handle much of the work of placing policies—reading messy submissions, chasing missing information, working with **100+ insurance markets**, and moving accounts toward coverage.
