## Lead System Integrator (LSI) ### Responsibilities - Own end-to-end integration of software components into a single **containerized deliverable**, ensuring containers build and run correctly on **T&E testbed infrastructure** - Design, build, and maintain **CI/CD pipelines** (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins) to automate container builds, unit/integration testing, static analysis, and artifact packaging - Enforce software coding best practices across team members and subcontractors (inline comments, documentation, version control hygiene, reproducible builds) - Serve as the primary technical interface to the **Program Manager** and **Test & Evaluation (T&E)** team for delivery, integration, and troubleshooting - Coordinate subcontractor software inputs, resolve interface conflicts, manage integration schedules, and maintain **Interface Control Documents (ICDs)** - Coordinate self-test leaderboard submissions and ensure the integrated system passes automated evaluation on government testbeds the team does not control ### Qualifications **Required** - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field - **5+ years** software engineering experience, including **3+ years** in systems integration or technical lead roles on government-funded research programs (e.g., IARPA, DARPA, or equivalent) - Strong proficiency in **Python** and **C/C++** - Demonstrated experience with **Docker** containerization (multi-stage builds, dependency pinning, hardware passthrough such as USB/GPU, and image hardening) - Experience designing/operating **CI/CD pipelines** (GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions) - Familiarity with **REST API** design and implementation - Experience coordinating deliverables across multiple organizations (industry and academic subcontractors) - Ability to produce clear technical documentation (software design docs, user manuals, API specs, integration test reports) **Desired** - Prior experience as an LSI/integration lead on an IARPA/DARPA performer team, including delivering containerized software to an independent T&E evaluation team - Familiarity with government testbed environments and T&E workflows (leaderboard scoring, sequestered evaluation processes) - Knowledge of **generative AI/ML** frameworks (PyTorch preferred), including packaging trained models for inference and integrating outputs into larger systems - Agile experience (sprint planning, backlog management, retrospectives) - Hands-on experience with **software radio / GNU Radio** (3.8+), including OOT module development and SDR integration (Ettus USRP preferred) - Experience with formal verification/formal methods tools (e.g., Z3, property-based testing, symbolic regression tools such as PySR) - MS or PhD in a related technical field - Ability to obtain a **Secret** security clearance ### Peraton Peraton is a next-generation national security company delivering trusted solutions across land, sea, space, air, and cyberspace.
