**Software/Applications Development Lead** **Overview** AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking a Software/Applications Development Lead to provide information technology support to Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PAE) Fires, Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Information Management Area Services (IMAS). **Responsibilities** • Facilitate digital transformation of PAE Fires through adoption and integration of advanced digital technologies • Establish software development processes and metrics to measure and improve team performance • Create Process Framework for all Development enhancements, projects, and releases • Collaborate with Software Architects and Developers on business requirements analysis and development **Qualifications** • Bachelor's degree + 10-12 years related experience OR Master's degree + 8-10 years related experience • Experience in leading application design, development, testing, deployment, and sustainment (GOTS, MOTS, COTS systems) • Expertise in source-code maintenance, database performance, and application security • Technical proficiency: .NET, SharePoint, SBM, MagicDraw, DOORS, Windchill • DoD 8140 certifications required • **Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility required**
