As of March 2026, Audax had more than **$20B** in assets under management. **Position Summary** The **Information Architect, SharePoint** is an individual contributor responsible for the architecture, taxonomy, and information structure of Audax Private Equity’s SharePoint environment. You will serve as the firm’s subject matter expert for SharePoint information architecture, managed metadata, content classification, and document lifecycle management—ensuring deal, fund, and portfolio company content is well-structured, consistently tagged, and discoverable. **Key Responsibilities** **SharePoint Information Architecture** - Own SharePoint information architecture (site structure, content types, column schemas, library design) - Act as technical authority on SharePoint architecture patterns (SPFx, CSOM, PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API) - Define and enforce standards for site provisioning and structure across the firm - Design and operate templated deal-site provisioning triggered from upstream systems **Taxonomy, Metadata, and Content Classification** - Own the managed metadata term store and firm deal taxonomy; maintain RefinableString managed property mappings - Design, build, and tune a document classification pipeline (path-based tagging, filename rules, SharePoint Premium classifiers, residual model stage) - Apply intelligent document processing at ingestion (OCR, extraction, form recognition) - Define and maintain metadata standards and content type architecture; drive tagging consistency - Remediate legacy libraries at scale using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, and migration tooling **Document Lifecycle and Automation** - Automate document movement through SharePoint aligned to the deal lifecycle (from deal creation to realized-deal archiving) - Build automated workflows and API-based integrations using Power Automate and Microsoft Graph API - Manage lifecycle within SharePoint, including archival and disposition, aligned to retention outcomes (Information Security + Microsoft Purview) - Partner with Information Security to ensure lifecycle automation applies sensitivity labels and retention policies **Data Quality and Reporting** - Develop reporting on metadata completeness, classification coverage, and content health - Establish operational metrics to communicate content health and classification accuracy to management - Maintain documentation, standards, and procedures for architecture, taxonomy, classification, and lifecycle services **Requirements / Qualifications** - Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Management, or equivalent experience - **5–7+ years** in SharePoint architecture, information architecture, or content management - Expert-level SharePoint Online information architecture (site structure, content types, column schemas, library design) - Expert-level managed metadata/term store administration and RefinableString managed property mappings - Strong SharePoint search tuning experience (verticals, refiners, query rules, PnP search) - Strong experience designing/operating document content classifica
