## Job Overview The **Senior Project Engineer** is dedicated to completing innovative technology projects, enhancing system capabilities, and fostering a culture of collaboration to address the unique challenges of the area. This role is key in delivering project solutions to clients that exceed expectations through a strong understanding of client technologies and thoughtful problem-solving. The ideal candidate typically has **7 years** of experience designing, testing, and deploying complete technology solutions. ## Job Responsibilities ### Expected Results - Champion successful implementation of key projects, meeting client requirements and timelines. - Drive optimization of IT system performance and reliability by proactively addressing challenges. - Enhance team collaboration and communication to support the success of every project. ### Prior Experience - Proven project execution expertise with a track record of successful implementations. - Strong technical proficiency in infrastructure components and systems. - Strong technical proficiency configuring and deploying infrastructure changes, including **firewalls, servers, networking, and wireless**. - Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to system optimization. - Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities for effective stakeholder engagement. - Client-focused mindset with a commitment to ensuring client satisfaction. - Flexibility, adaptability, and a customer-centric approach to project execution. ## Job Qualifications - Experience working with remote teams is desired. - Hands-on deployment and troubleshooting experience across technologies including **endpoints, servers, cloud technologies, and networks**. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes high-pressure consulting environment. - Experience with **PSA tools/ticketing platforms** (e.g., ConnectWise) is a plus (not required). - Experience in an **MSP environment** supporting multiple clients is a plus (not required). - Experience with **RMM tools** (e.g., Kaseya or LabTech/ConnectWise Automate) is a plus (not required). - Valid driver’s license and a vehicle available for travel to/from client offices and company offices. ## Required Areas of Expertise ### Windows Server Environment Setup - Active Directory and Active Directory Services - DNS and DHCP - Basic PowerShell scripting - Storage solutions such as **NFS and SMB** - Hypervisor setup and configuration with **Hyper-V** ### Cloud Platform Deployments - SharePoint, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams ### Equipment Setup and Deployment - Dell and HPE server chassis - Network switches from Ubiquiti - Firewalls from Sophos - Wireless Access Points (WAPs) from Ubiquiti ### Data Storage Device Setup and Deployment - NAS solutions from QNAP and Synology ## Preferred Areas of Expertise ### Hypervisor Setup and Configuration - VMware ESXi - Nutanix Acropolis ### Cloud Platform Deployments - Azure AD and Cloud Server - Apple MDM - Citrix ShareFile ### Equipment Setup and Deployment - Network switches from Cisco and Dell Enterprise - Firewalls from SonicWall and Fortinet - Wireless Access Points (WAPs) from Cisco Meraki and other vendors such as TP-Link ### Data Storage Device Setup and Deployment - SAN solutions from Compellent and Nutanix ## Compensation Pay rates start at **$31.11/hour** up to **$37.76/hour**, varying by experience and location. ## Benefits - Medical Insurance Plan - Dental & Vision - Life Insurance - Disability Cover
