**Clinical Application Analyst I** *Empowering communities through accessible, inclusive, and compassionate care.* At **Jane Pauley Community Health Center** (an FQHC), every role supports integrated, whole-person care for individuals and families across Indiana—regardless of income or insurance status. --- ## Role Overview The **Clinical Applications Analyst I** provides frontline support, maintenance, and optimization of the organization’s **Electronic Medical Record (EMR)** system, primarily **Epic**. This role supports clinical, non-clinical, and executive staff by ensuring system functionality, resolving issues, and assisting with basic system builds and updates. --- ## Essential Duties & Responsibilities - Provide **Tier 1 support** for Epic applications, troubleshooting user-reported issues and resolving tickets in a timely manner - Perform **user account creation, maintenance, and access management** in accordance with organizational policies - Analyze EMR workflows and system issues to identify root causes and implement solutions or escalate as needed - Assist with **low-complexity Epic builds, updates, and configuration changes** - Support **system testing, validation, and documentation** for new workflows and enhancements - Create, review, and update **PowerPoint presentations** and training materials for organization-wide communication and system updates - Serve as a resource to clinical, non-clinical, and executive staff by providing guidance on Epic functionality and best practices - Collaborate with analysts, IT teams, and operational stakeholders to improve system performance and user experience - Maintain accurate documentation of **issues, resolutions, and system changes** - Assist with training as needed --- ## Education & Experience - **1–3 years** of experience supporting EMR systems, preferably **Epic** - Basic understanding of **clinical workflows** and healthcare operations - Strong **troubleshooting** and **problem-solving** skills - Experience with **user access/security management** in EMR systems - Proficiency in **Microsoft Office Suite**, especially **PowerPoint** - Excellent communication skills with the ability to support diverse user groups - **RN, LPN, or CMA/RMA clinical license required** --- ## Physical Demands - Regularly required to **sit**, use hands, reach with hands/arms, and **talk or hear** - Occasionally required to **stand and walk** - Frequently lift/move up to **10 lbs**; occasionally lift/move up to **25 lbs** - Vision abilities required: **close, distance, color, peripheral vision**, and ability to **adjust focus** --- ## Work Environment - Noise level is usually **moderate** - May require **occasional after-hours support** for upgrades or go-lives --- ## Why You’ll Love Working Here - **Purpose-driven work** that directly impacts access to care across communities - **Robust benefits package** (medical, dental, vision) - **Generous PTO** - **401(k) with employer contribution** - **Life and disability coverage** *Here, you are not just filling a role—you are helping shape healthier communities and advancing equitable care every day!*
