Founded in 2017, CoreWeave became a publicly traded company (Nasdaq: CRWV) in March 2025. **Role Overview** We're seeking an experienced Senior Network Security Engineer to architect and implement cutting-edge security solutions for our rapidly scaling cloud infrastructure hosting high-performance AI workloads. You'll work in a high-scale environment protecting network security across our data center perimeter and internal networks. The ideal candidate has 5-10 years of experience with deep understanding of modern cloud/network architectures and a passion for mentoring others. **Key Responsibilities** • Design and deploy robust security measures across network perimeter and internal fabrics (firewalls, IPS/IDS, segmentation) • Champion Zero Trust security model across CoreWeave's network and cloud environments • Establish robust monitoring for network security events and coordinate incident response • Work closely with Networking, Infrastructure, and Software Engineering teams • Secure high-density GPU clusters and ultra-low latency backend fabrics • Drive security initiatives and mentor junior engineers • Develop and refine security policies for scalable, distributed environments **Required Qualifications** • 5-10 years hands-on network security engineering experience in large-scale cloud or hyperscaler environments • Deep understanding of network security principles and technologies (DDoS mitigation, data center fabrics, zero trust) • Strong knowledge of cloud and network architectures, protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, HTTP/S), segmentation, VPNs, firewalls • Demonstrated ability to lead security initiatives and mentor engineers • Excellent cross-team collaboration skills • Experience designing security policies and familiarity with compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, SOC2) **Preferred Skills** • Prior hyperscaler or top-tier cloud provider experience • Zero Trust and IAM system design experience • Scripting/programming proficiency (Python, Go) and DevSecOps practices • Security certifications (CISSP, CCSP, GIAC, AWS/Azure Security Specialty) • Active involvement in security community or open-source projects **Compensation & Benefits** **Salary:** $182,000 - $242,000 (based on qualifications and location) **Benefits Include:** • Medical, dental, and vision insurance (100% paid by CoreWeave) • Company-paid life insurance • 401(k) with generous employer match • Flexible PTO • Tuition reimbursement • Mental wellness benefits and family-forming support • Paid parental leave • Flexible childcare support • Catered lunch at office and data center locations **Equal Opportunity** CoreWeave is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive workplace.
