## Software Development Test Engineer (SDET), Android **About the Role** Keeper Security is hiring a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to design, build and maintain automated testing solutions for native Android applications. This is a 100% remote position, with hybrid schedule options available for candidates in El Dorado Hills, CA or Chicago, IL. **Key Responsibilities** • Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks for native Android applications • Build automated test suites for functional, regression, integration and end-to-end coverage • Develop tests using Espresso, UI Automator, Appium or similar Android testing frameworks • Integrate Android test automation into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Bitrise, etc.) • Execute automated tests across Android emulators and physical devices • Partner with Android engineers to improve application testability • Investigate test failures and improve automation stability and reliability • Validate behavior across different Android versions, device types and configurations • Contribute to mobile automation architecture, tooling standards and best practices **Required Qualifications** • 3+ years in software testing, SDET or test automation roles with significant Android experience • Strong hands-on experience with Android automation frameworks (Espresso, UI Automator, Appium) • Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java • Experience designing and maintaining scalable automated test frameworks • Experience with Android Studio, Gradle and Android build workflows • CI/CD pipeline integration experience • Strong understanding of Android application lifecycle, permissions and platform-specific behavior • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience • **U.S. Person status required** (U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident) due to FedRAMP involvement **Preferred Qualifications** • Cloud-based mobile device testing platforms (Firebase Test Lab, BrowserStack, Sauce Labs) • Jetpack Compose testing experience • Android accessibility, performance or network-condition testing • Security-sensitive mobile workflows (authentication, biometrics, passkeys, MFA) • Cybersecurity or password management application testing experience • Google Play release workflows and mobile release validation **Benefits** • Medical, Dental & Vision coverage • Employer-paid Life Insurance • 401(k) (Roth/Traditional) • Generous PTO plan with paid bereavement and jury duty **About Keeper Security** One of the fastest-growing cybersecurity companies protecting thousands of organizations and millions of people in 150+ countries.
