Andesite is FedRAMP Certified (Class D, High) and SOC 2 Type II, helping organizations reduce attack surfaces and eliminate blind spots to shift from reactive to proactive security. --- **THE ROLE** Andesite is building a new product for technical operators in the national security space. As a **Full Stack Engineer**, you’ll develop both the **backend and frontend** systems that help analysts get maximum value from data sources including **social media, audio, and geolocation data**. This role involves building a new product that extends the existing platform—working directly with customers and also within the platform to enhance capabilities that benefit multiple products. **Active TS security clearance is required.** --- **WHAT YOU’LL DO** - Design, build, and launch resilient, high-performance web applications and secure APIs that process, visualize, and fuse multi-source intelligence data (social media feeds, audio streams, geolocation telemetry) for mission-critical operator workflows. - Partner with Product, Design, Domain SMEs, and other Engineering teams to translate complex technical requirements into seamless user experiences for national security analysts. - Deploy alongside tactical operators, iteratively building, validating, and optimizing custom tools in real-world national security operational contexts. - Extend and strengthen Andesite’s core platform capabilities—ensuring seamless data integration, low-latency performance, and scalable infrastructure across multiple product offerings. --- **WHO YOU ARE** - Passion for delivering products that delight customers using next-generation AI technology. - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. - **Active TS clearance**. - Minimum **5 years** of full stack engineering experience. - Experience building responsive, scalable frontends and APIs, plus strong data structures, algorithms, and software design. - Proficiency in **Python** and **JavaScript**. - Experience with cloud solutions (**AWS, GCP, Azure**) and containerization (**Docker, Kubernetes**). - Proficiency with AI coding tools and harness development. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. --- **EVEN BETTER IF YOU HAVE** - 2+ years working in an early-stage startup (Seed / Series A). - Experience building AI products using NLP, computer vision, or other ML techniques. --- **COMPENSATION** - Base salary range: **$180,000–$240,000** - Final compensation depends on experience, skills, and location. - Eligible for bonus program and equity. --- **WHAT ANDESITE CAN OFFER** - 100% employer-paid comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance for you and your family. - Up to 14 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - Generous, flexible PTO. - Remote-first culture (manage your own workday). - One-time home office stipend. - Occasional travel to collaborate in person with customers and teammates. --- **Equal Opportunity** Andesite is an equal opportunity employer.
