Because our customers trust us with some of the world’s most sensitive information, **security is fundamental** to everything we build. As a leader on our **Product Security** team, you’ll embed security into our engineering organization—enabling teams to build quickly and securely as we scale. Reporting to the **Senior Director of Product Security**, you’ll help shape the product security roadmap and lead a team of engineers delivering it. Your team will own defined areas of Harvey’s production surface, partnering with product and platform engineers to shape architecture, influence design decisions, and build security tooling. You’ll combine people leadership with sound technical judgment to protect customers and make secure development easier across Harvey. ### What You’ll Do - Partner with the Senior Director of Product Security to translate security strategy into focused priorities and measurable outcomes. - Hire, develop, and lead Product Security Engineers; establish clear ownership and act as trusted partners to engineering. - Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Infrastructure, and Security to align security investments with business priorities and platform realities. - Own your team’s planning, prioritization, and delivery day to day. - Provide technical direction on **architecture reviews**, **threat modeling**, and **remediation**, guiding engineers through complex security tradeoffs. - Scale impact through **automation**, **developer tooling**, and **secure-by-default** patterns. - Communicate risks and progress to engineering leadership and drive accountability for meaningful security improvements. ### What You Have - Experience managing **Product Security** or **Application Security** engineers at a growing technology company. - Strong engineering background with deep expertise in modern application security and **cloud-native architectures**. - Track record of delivering security improvements through engineering.
