**Engineering Manager, Front-end (Amplify Marketing Team)** **Team Overview** The Amplify Engineering team builds internal tools, platforms, and AI-powered automation that help Klaviyos work more efficiently and at scale. We partner across Sales, Marketing, Engineering & Product, and Customer Service & Success to solve real operational problems with practical, well-designed software. **How You'll Make an Impact** • Lead multiple engineering teams and set technical vision for internal tools and platforms • Own a portfolio of internal systems supporting Sales, Marketing, Customer Service & Success, and R&D • Balance technical and people leadership, setting direction and enabling efficient delivery • Partner with engineers, product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate challenges into scalable solutions • Foster a culture of innovation, systems thinking, technical excellence, and AI-first mindset • Transform workflows by putting AI at the center of internal systems **Who You Are** • BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience • 6-8+ years hands-on software development building highly available, full-stack SaaS products at scale • 5+ years as an engineering manager leading high-performing teams on complex, cross-team initiatives • AI-native technical leader with hands-on experience using modern AI tools (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini) • Strong track record of end-to-end ownership from design through deployment • Hands-on front-end development experience with TypeScript & React • Experience with CMS platforms (Sanity, Contentful) and I18N/L10N at scale • Effective cross-functional leader and people-first coach • Passionate about building internal platforms that improve productivity and automation **Nice to Have** • Experience building internal tools for developers and non-technical stakeholders • Experience with A/B-testing and personalization platforms (Optimizely, AB Tasty, Adobe Target) **Tech Stack** Python / Django / FastAPI • TypeScript / React / Astro • Sanity CMS • AWS • MySQL / Redis • Cloudflare Pages/Workers **Location & Work Model** Boston, Massachusetts | Hybrid | Relocation support available **Compensation** Base Pay Range: $176,000 – $264,000 USD (varies by location) Up to 10% travel for onboarding, team meetings, and industry events.
