Since 2007, we’ve focused on making the transition to electric easy for businesses, fleets, and drivers—helping build an all-electric future. ### Reports To Staff, Security Operations ### What You Will Be Doing As the **SOC Lead**, you’ll be the primary escalation point for advanced security incidents and a key driver of proactive security improvements. You’ll: - Lead incident response from detection through containment, eradication, and post-incident review - Own **P1/P2 escalations**, drive root cause analysis, and ensure timely stakeholder communication - Run proactive **threat hunting** using endpoint, network, and cloud telemetry - Operationalize threat intelligence (e.g., **MITRE ATT&CK**, OSINT, vendor feeds) - Own the **SIEM content lifecycle** (detection rules, correlation logic, dashboards) and reduce alert fatigue - Develop and automate **SOC playbooks/runbooks** using SOAR capabilities to improve **MTTD/MTTR** - Oversee **data exfiltration monitoring** (USB, cloud uploads, email, and AI tools) - Mentor SOC analysts through skill-building sessions, tabletop exercises, and purple team engagements - Manage relationships with **MDR providers** and security tool vendors, validating escalations and driving SLA accountability ### What You Will Bring to ChargePoint - **6+ years** in SOC, Incident Response, or Threat Hunting; **2+ years** in a lead or senior analyst capacity - Hands-on experience with **EDR**, **SIEM/SOAR**, **DLP**, and **cloud security** - Strong understanding of **MITRE ATT&CK**, kill chain methodology, and adversary emulation - Experience investigating **nation-state threats**, **BEC**, **insider threats**, and **supply chain attacks** - Proficiency in scripting/automation (e.g., **Python, PowerShell, KQL**) - Excellent communication for cross-functional coordination (Legal, PeopleOps, IT) - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience - Preferred certifications: **GCIH, GCFA, GCIA, OSCP, CySA+**, or equivalent ### Location **Gurgaon / Remote** ### Equal Opportunity ChargePoint is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to an inclusive and diverse workplace.
