You’ll work in an inclusive, passionate, resilient culture that values differences and embraces all. **Benefits (Highlights)** - Flexible work environment - Career advancement - Competitive base salary + bonus opportunity - Vacation, Personal, Sick & Holiday pay - Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Life & AD&D insurance - 401(k) with company match - 30% merchandise discount **Responsibilities** - Administer, monitor, and maintain **Microsoft SQL Server** environments across **development, QA, staging, and production** (on-prem and **Azure**) - Configure, patch, upgrade, secure, and support database servers - Perform backups, recovery validation, release deployments, and scheduled maintenance - Troubleshoot and resolve database issues (performance, availability, storage, connectivity, failed jobs, outages) with end-to-end support and root cause analysis - Partner with development teams on performance optimization (query tuning, schema improvements, indexing, execution plan analysis) - Support and maintain **high availability** and **disaster recovery** solutions to ensure business continuity and compliance with recovery objectives - Develop and enhance automation, monitoring, reporting, and operational processes using **PowerShell**, **T-SQL**, and other scripting tools - Contribute to DBA initiatives (migrations, upgrades, patching, documentation, technical mentoring, and 24x7 on-call rotation) **Qualifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent (Microsoft SQL Server or Azure certifications preferred) - 3–5 years of hands-on Microsoft SQL Server administration experience in production and non-production environments - Strong knowledge of SQL Server installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, backups, recovery, security, performance tuning, and operational support - Experience with high availability/disaster recovery (e.g., **Always On Availability Groups**, failover clustering, log shipping, replication, backup-based recovery) - Experience with SQL Server ecosystem technologies (e.g., **SSIS**, **SSRS**, SQL Agent, ETL, Azure SQL services, monitoring platforms) - Proficiency with **PowerShell**, **T-SQL**, or similar scripting languages - Working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, storage, networking, compliance, and change/incident management - Strong communication, organization, collaboration, documentation, and mentoring skills **Pay Range** **$80,000 – $95,000** *Individual base pay is determined by factors such as relevant experience and skills, and the scope/responsibilities of the role.*
