Testlio is hiring a **Payments Solutions Architect** to lead the intersection of **digital financial transactions** and **quality engineering**. You’ll define, package, and oversee Testlio’s payments testing offerings (catalog, methodology, staffing, and pricing) while diving deep into the technical architecture of complex transaction systems to remove quality engineering roadblocks. You’ll also drive strategies to expand the payments business and deliver hands-on value across the client portfolio. ### Why you will love this job - **Blend strategy with technical depth:** Drive the vision and commercial packaging of Payments offerings while staying grounded in technical architecture and delivery methodologies. - **Shape the future of Payments Testing:** Build and evangelize solutions that improve transaction integrity and quality for global enterprise clients (including speaking and publishing). - **Partner with clients to solve complex challenges:** Work directly on technical integrations and architectural setups to shape high-impact testing strategies. - **Make a tangible impact:** Your work directly influences client success and the quality of digital products used by millions. - **Drive company influence:** Help build the pipeline, join sales calls, and guide delivery on Payments opportunities. ### What would your day look like? **Strategic & Commercial Responsibilities** - **Vision activation & marketing:** Produce white papers, articles, posts, speeches, and webinars. - **Ecosystem & alliances support:** Collaborate with the Testlio VP, Alliances and external software partners to execute joint GTM offerings. - **Sales collaboration:** Partner with Sales to provide clear guidance on Payments Testing strategies, tactics, and ROI. - **Offering lifecycle management:** Launch, evolve, and refine payments services based on market and competitive intelligence. **Collaboration on Hands-on Delivery** - **Architectural design:** Design bespoke, highly technical quality engineering methodologies for agentic payments, mobile payments, wallets, and POS systems. - **Delivery expertise:** Serve as an escalation point and subject-matter expert; step in hands-on from scoping through test execution review. - **Technical problem solving:** Resolve payments quality engineering roadblocks, ensuring transaction integrity, security, and compliance across regions and instruments. - **Client up-leveling:** Help Services teams and top clients design and implement new technical approaches. ### What do you need to succeed? **Technical Skills** - **10+ years** of deep experience with digital payment systems (mobile payments, online banking, payment gateways, wallets, POS). - Strong affinity for **quality engineering**, **API integrations**, and world-class software development methodologies in the financial sector. - Proven ability to troubleshoot payment integrations and design structured evaluation criteria for complex transaction flows. - **Master’s degree** in Finance, Computer
