**Software Engineer (Agent Platform)** **ABOUT THE ROLE** Agent Platform is Browserbase's framework for automating browsers with code. The Agent Platform team creates developer tools at the intersection of AI and open source, making browser automation smarter, simpler, and more powerful. **WHAT YOU'LL DO** • Build, operate, and grow the Agent Platform framework - developer-first APIs with ~2M monthly downloads and ~17k stars • Design and implement tools that make automating the web simple and powerful • Work with frontier AI labs (OpenAI, Google, and others) to improve models and benchmark capabilities • Deploy production-ready AI solutions that impact millions of customers • Help define, scope, and prioritize projects that shape the future of developer tooling • Document as you go and share knowledge with the team **TECHNICAL SKILLS** • Strong coding skills: preferably TypeScript; also valuable: Python/Go • Experience building developer tools, frameworks, or libraries • Experience building AI agents/LLMs, distributed systems, or reinforcement learning • Familiarity with web automation frameworks (Puppeteer, Playwright, Selenium) or web scraping • Track record of open source contributions or public developer projects **YOU'RE A GOOD FIT IF YOU** • Have high agency and can drive projects forward independently • Have strong ownership and bias toward action • Communicate clearly in writing and in person • Are adaptable and learn quickly • Enjoy collaborating with a small, ambitious team • Are excited to work 4 days/week (WFH Wednesday) in San Francisco HQ **WHY JOIN US** • Shape the future of browser automation with AI-driven developer tools • Work in the open with the broader open source community • Collaborate with a high-bar engineering team • Join a Series B startup with immediate impact *Browserbase is backed by Kleiner Perkins, CRV, and Notable Capital.*
